Caught

That would be Deuce...I know...

Where Otter Creek meets the Eau Claire
It's amazing how caught up you can become in your surroundings when you are away. Meaning? Take a break...get away...enjoy life outside of your normal routines! Away from work, away from the city, away from it all can really leave you caught. This past week was a blast. I got caught!

On Wednesday I drove up into what is often called "up north" to spend time with myself, my parents, my dogs, my Fiance, and my family. A weekend of skiing, fun, and connecting, and most importantly a weekend of being caught.

Today I was released and back to work. But not without enthusiasm around the 12" of snow dumped in E.C. over the weekend. I was able to ski Tower Ridge with my race skis. Something that I haven't been able to do in a couple of years, that is ski with my good skies.

Later I took my dogs, Deuce and Stella on a hike along the Eau Claire rive and over a couple of hills on the Golf course. It was a day where being released wasn't all that bad!

Ski on...for a couple of weeks at least.
